Two of the most popular Rolex models are the history making DateJust and Day-Date, also known as the Presidential, President, or President Model. Launched in 1945, the DateJust was the first watch to display the date on the dial, and it appears today at the 3 o’clock position just as it did on the first model. The Day-Date expanded on this trend, adding the day feature so that the day of the week is spelled out and appears at the 12 o’clock position, while the date is at 3 o’clock, magnified by a Cyclops lens.
